Dr. Jan Hook

Jan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois. He does individual, marital and group psychotherapy. He is in private practice at The Arlington Center in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He has a doctorate in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University. He received his masters degree in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology from Trinity International University. Jan’s area of expertise is marriage counseling. From 2000-2003, he acted as director of the marital restoration workshops and sexual purity workshops at Willow Creek Community Church. Jan frequently speaks on issues pertaining to marriage and sexuality. Jan also counsels men struggling with sex addiction and runs several men’s groups. He does speaking on men’s issues. Jan is an adjunct professor at Trinity International University. He currently teaches Career Counseling and Human Sexuality at the graduate school. Jan has been married to Cheryl for 42 years and has one adult son, Josh.
